GNM Course Overview

The GNM course is a three-year program, with the final six months dedicated to an internship, as per the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: The applicant must be at least 17 years old as of 31.07.2024 (born on or before 31.07.2007). No upper age limit.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Pass the '10+2' examination with at least 40% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
  • Pass in English in the '10+2' examination.
  • For vocational stream candidates, must be from the Health Care Science discipline.
• Residence: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal for at least the last ten years until 31.12.2024.
